ENDOWMENT

An endowment fund has been created by the University of Science &Technology Meghalaya initially with a fixed deposit amount of Rs. 10,00,000/- in the name of University of Science & Technology Alumni Association (USTAA) Meghalaya and more fund shall be generated from the registration fee of alumni and voluntary donation from the alumni and any other institutions, organizations, associations etc.
The endowment fund shall be utilised for the social welfare of human being and on the following headings:

1. Scholarship shall be provided to the students of USTM who are differently able and economically weak.
2. Adopt nearby village of USTM and provide the facilities of education, healthcare, essential foods and commodities, tree plantation, electricity through solar installation etc.
3. Organise seminar, conference, workshop, webinar, awareness program etc.
4. Construction of a block in the University Campus for the office bearers of the University of Science & Technology Alumni Association (USTAA) Meghalaya.
5. Provide basic amenities in the campus of USTM like generator, refrigerator, solar installation, water filter, instrument of gymnasium, sport accessories, Green-Vehicles and other required gadgets.
6. Construction of a hostel in the campus of USTM for the students of differently able and economically weak students of the University.
7. Setting up of laboratories for the different departments of the University
8. In upcoming days University of Science & Technology Alumni Association (USTAA) Meghalaya planning to raise cloud funds from the Alumni to assist in different necessity.
